Data privacy Policy for the website www.holter.at
When you access our website, we store information about your access (date, time, page viewed, IP address) as log files on our server. Such storage is based on our legitimate interest in monitoring technical operations, optimising our provision of information, and the detection of attacks on our website. Such data are evaluated by us exclusively for our own statistical purposes, in anonymised form.
Log data are erased after 6 years.
Processing takes place on behalf of Fritz Holter GmbH, Sengerstraße 27, 4600 Wels, Austria.
When you use our website, we do not usually collect any of your personal data. When you contact us via any of our contact forms or when you subscribe to our newsletter, we shall use your email address and your usual personal data exclusively for the purpose of individual correspondence, to answer your enquiries or requests. We guarantee that your details will only be used by ourselves, that they will not be disclosed to third parties and that they will be treated confidentially as required under the applicable statutory provisions. We may, however, disclose data to processors who work exclusively on the instruction of HOLTER, do not use the data for their own purposes and are bound by their own agreements to data protection obligations specified in the General Data Protection Regulation.
General enquiries or requests
When we process the details of your enquiry or request (name, contact details, content of enquiry or request, history of previous contact with us), which you send to us via the contact form or by email, we shall do so for the purpose of customer support (pre-contractual measures) and for marketing purposes (legitimate interest in direct marketing by surface mail). We will erase your data 3 years after your last enquiry or request, unless we are under a statutory obligation to retain such data.
Newsletter subscription
We will only send you our newsletter upon your express consent, i.e. after you have provided your details and email address, clicked the “Subscribe” button and subsequently clicked the confirmation link in the automatic confirmation email (double opt-in).
Once you have agreed to receive our newsletter, you can revoke your consent at any time, using the relevant unsubscription link in any of our newsletters.
As well as your email address, we process information about your user behaviour when reading our newsletter, e.g. what kind of articles you read particularly often. We collect such information so that we can make our content more interesting and appropriate for you.
Your data will be stored until you revoke your consent or until you unsubscribe our newsletter.
Your rights
You have a right of data access, rectification and erasure of data as well as a right to restriction of processing, a right to data portability to a different controller and a right to object to processing. You are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
